A revamped Food and Craft Hall will be one of the centre attractions at an upcoming Newark Showground event on 5th & 6th September.
One of the highlights will be Nottinghamshire butcher Johnny Pusztai guiding visitors through the best ways to prepare and cook meats when camping with his lively and energetic presentations. Four sessions on each day will cover…
Breakfast in the skin | Johnny explains how to prepare his award-winning sausage
50 children’s fingers found in a burger | One for the kids! A special demo tailored for the younger campers who will get to prepare, cook and eat their own burger
Crazy chicken on the BBQ | Learn how to make crazy, finger-licking chicken
The pig’s tail | How to prepare and cook a variety of pork
After being inspired by Johnny, show-goers can stock up a range of food and produce from the Manor Farm Shop which will be selling meats, cheese, eggs, milk, fruit and veg. The local vendor will also be acting as the site’s camping shop for the weekend.
Adults and children alike will also have the opportunity to learn new skills through interactive presentations delivered by The Craft Studio of Nottingham
